Would you like to get some of that publicity action for your book?
Would you like to have journalists writing about you and telling others to buy your book?
Well today we’re talking with Dean Rotbart—master Buzz Snatcher.
Dean was an investigative financial journalist for the Wall Street Journal, where he served as a ‘Heard on the Street’ columnist and an investigative reporter. He was the winner of the John Hancock Award for Excellence in Financial Reporting and was nominated by the Journal for the Pulitzer Prize in Explanatory Journalism.
Through his Reputation Tool Chest workshops and training programs, he uses his extensive expertise to help Global 500 corporations as well as small businesses and entrepreneurs build (or rebuild) their reputations through the media. He also teaches these techniques through his radio shows Monday Morning Radio and Business Unconventional.
Dean uses the term “Buzz Snatching” to describe his method of incorporating cutting-edge media relations, social networking, content generation, event planning and other non-conventional methods of getting the public thinking and talking about you and your book.
IN THIS EPISODE YOU’LL DISCOVER:
- What exactly is buzz snatching and how it can help you gain a TON of media attention.
- A step-by-step walk through of the 5 pillars of Buzz Snatching.
- The most common mistake made by authors with low book sales.
- Examples of over-the-top (but respectful) publicity stunts and why you have to stand out to get attention.
